Was debating taking a lyft to work this morning, but it seems to have stopped raining, so I guess I am grabbing some breakfast and my umbrella and biking. Which is better anyway because I don't want to spend any money i don't have to spend.

I stayed up a bit too late last night watching Saiyuki. I said this somewhere else but I remembered the flashbacks with Kanan taking a lot longer/going over the course of several episodes and it very much didn't. Unless there's more later or I'm thinking of the manga. They also seem to have cut out the whole sibling aspect.

Which explains why when discussing it with people who've only ever seen the anime they always seemed so very fond of Hakkai despite their usual anti-tendencies. Hmm.

Bah. Food real quick and then work. Two days then I'm off Saturday.

Had a customer argue with us today that we didn't need to see and scan her ID to let her buy vodka. She insisted that we always just let her go by looking at it. None of us had ever seen her a day in our lives.

After I managed to convince her to let me type in her birthdate and went to help someone else, she walked off with the vodka w/o paying for the vodka. So we froze the transaction and gave it to security.

Like I personally don't give a shit if you pay for the stuff or not but like. . .at least let us verify you're allowed to have it. It was only a $10 bottle of vodka and she was clearly over the age of 21 but it was still irritating. Like lady, we have a LINE, please just pay for your shit and go.

I will never understand the mentality of people to think that everyone in existence is trying to screw YOU over specifically. I promise, none of us at this grocery store care that much about you. We just want you to shut up so someone who isn't yelling at us can check out.

One more day then I'm off on Saturday. I will spend the day writing and doing something else IDK what.

I told the rental office that I will get the rent in on Tuesday when I get paid so I'm trying to be really careful with any of my money cause I figured it down to I'd have like $40 left after I paid the rent.

I am going to try really hard the next month to not spend money on take out. It might mean spending more money on actual food for the house, but it's still better to drop $40 for three meals than $40 for one.

I wanna see how much I actually save if I cut back on fast food. And also see if I feel any better.
