Jun. 18th, 2024 08:21 pmI handled a thing that I've been putting off for a week because I thought it was going to be a massive pain in the ass to do. It was not and was mostly me just waiting on an email confirming the person who was answering my request had done said request. Took ten minutes.
Rent is paid. I'm having taco bell for dinner because the dishwasher is taking a dick year and I wanna watch Demon Slayer and take some NyQuil. Maybe lay in bed and finish volume 1 of Guardian before bed. IDK. it's later than I keep thinking it is because of the sun still being up.
Black Butler is either done for the season or has one more episode left, so I'll just slide YNK in where it was on my "buy a pizza and watch anime" Saturday nights. (I also really wanna catch up on Kaiju No 8.)
I wrote the first fic for the go for gold! event that starts next month, so I'm excited about that.
I've got it and then another event in October and another event that I'm doing a Fruits Basket fic for (November, I think?). I've got a LIST of fics I need to get done. On my way to hitting the 50K posted to AO3 this year.
I really wanna try giving Code Geass another shot when I finish Kyo Kara Maoh! I remember enjoying what I watched of it and I have seen CodeMENT so many times I can basically recite it.
I'm also down that hole of watching Yuri!!! on Ice reactions on YT cause most of the fics I have bookmarked are too long for me to dedicate time to reading them and while I have an OtaYuri fic on the. . docket? List? It's still a little ways away. (YES. I'M ARRIVING. . .EIGHT YEARS LATE WITH STARBUCKS.) Tho tbf, I didn't see the show until like 2020 and I only found WtM like. . .a couple weeks ago.
OH. I also have a phone interview for a job on Monday. I don't expect much to come of it because I've interviewed with these people before, but they keep reaching out whenever they have an opening they think I'm interested in/can do cause I'm on their list now. It's worth a shot.
IDK how much longer I can handle retail both financially and because it's KILLING my health. I'm sick every other week. This time it started as a sinus infection and has spread into a chest cold. And I can't afford to take off even with a doctor's note rn.
I also need to remember on Friday to call the rental office and have them update my lease. (I think I mentioned this already? I can't remember what I've mentioned here) But they still have baby Ro on the lease and she passed away last year. They charge $30 per pet and they're already increasing the rent by like $20 so lol no.
