(no subject)

I woke up after like two hours of sleep because the building was shaking and I thought there was an earthquake.

There was not. There's someone here repaving the parking lot. And they are apparently bad at driving the. . .paver cause they keep hitting the sidewalk.

Now I have to figure out how to get out of the apartment and down to the road into work since I can't cut across the parking lot like I would usually do.

If they sent out messages that this was going to happen, I didn't get one and it's irritating.

Also it REEKS like something burning and the cat is upset.

So not only am I off work this Saturday, but I also managed to get next Friday and Saturday off. Two days in a row. I can't WAIT omg.

I want to spend a couple of days working on fic w/o having to worry about my damned sleep schedule.

Also I THINK I figured out how to overhaul the Eden fic I started on last year so that it works better for what I wanted to do with it. I'll have to find TIME to do it, but I'm excited nonetheless.

(I have to write all of my Adam-centric stuff NOW because IDK what the OVA is going to tell us that's going to mess with my plans. >__< )

Also, wish my groceries would hurry up and arrive so I can take some Midol and go to bed. Not only am I just sleepy from not sleeping but I'm lethargic and cramping.

I also realized that I never got around to cancelling my preorders of the last volume of Given and Guardian so they're just. . .on the way now. or will be, anyway. Either way. Excited for that. (Tho Given is supposed to be here on Thursday so they should probably get on that.)
