Kind of. In one life? And then scrolled down to see someone else going on about how Hakkai and Gojyo are toxic and how did they ever think the "you looked up at me asking me to kill you" was romantic? And I was like PLEASE. THEY'RE OLD AND TIRED. JUST STOP. (It probably wasn't a BIG deal as it felt at the time, but there was someone in the 07G tag a month or so ago who was being AWFUL about frau/teito shippers so I was like ". . .could you just NOT.")
I run into it in Kyo Kara Maoh! fandom sometimes too where someone pops into the tag like THIS PAIRING IS GROSS BECAUSE OF (whatever reason they decided it's gross) and I'm there like ". . .the story is like 30 years old. It doesn't care that you think it's toxic." And neither do the people who enjoy it, just calm down.
