blackicebobaSooo. . .In light of Tumblr announcing they're selling our shit to help with AI, I guess it's time to dust off this again.
Good thing is if every social media site becomes unusable by my standards it means I will have more time to do things that aren't scrolling on social media.
Like work on the long list of fics I want to write and catch up on my to read/watch list.
And work.
I'm still looking for something better than the current retail job. I'm mostly just holding out until my old starts rehiring the people who left which should be in like May or June.
But I need money until then.
I wound up calling out of work today cause after a month of working retail again i wound up with a sinus infection/chest cold. Cause my immune system is bullshit after four bouts with covid.
I've been sleeping most of the day but when I'm not I've been trying to work on my pinch hit for a Free! event I'm part of.
Also keeping an eye on the cat cause he's acting like he's not feeling well and I can't tell if he's just worn out from the amount of playing he's been doing or if he's actually sick. He's in the beginning stages of kidney disease so I worry. He's 12 years old. My other cat was 14 when she passed away. And since she had leukemia I am afraid he's going to wind up with it. I should have had them give him the vaccine for that as well when I had him at the vet last but I forgot it was a thing.
Although they said Ro had developed what was basically the human non contagious version so he might be fine.
I've been watching A Sign of Affection and Solo Leveling when they drop on Crunchyroll. So far I love ASoA and am tolerating Solo Leveling. (I think I expected to like SL more than I do since I love ORV so much but here I am)
I'm also alternating between Gundam 00 and Kyo Kara Maoh depending on my mood and so far I am loving both. KKM is one of those things I saw around back in the early 00's on a bunch of yaoi communities cause of course it was. I get it now.
I am having a really good time with it, although I can tell it's about to derail into the SERIOUS WAR ARC cause Yuri just got snatched by the bad guys. I've also been reading a lot of Yuuri/Wolfram fanfic in the meantime which means I'm having some issues remember what actually happened so far and what's a trope the fandom just really likes. (The way you can tell something is influenced from omegaverse w/o ever having had anything to do with omegaverse)
I'm reading Monthly Girls' Nozaki-kun. And when I'm caught up on that I'll probably read No. 6? Its been hanging out on my shelf patiently waiting on me.
I also found a site where you can watch a bunch of older anime for free so I watched Yami no Matsuei and part of D Gray Man. I liked YnM and got bored with DGM. I also got bored about three episodes in to Loveless.
Hmm. Rn I am waiting on groceries cause the cat is out of food and I wanted soup.
IDK. We shall see how this pans out. Given the current state of KOSA it might all be a moot point anyway since Tumblr will get hit EXTRA hard by the law. I think I am going to back up my fics from AO3 on here just in case. When I'm feeling a little better.
